Last weekend Neilson visited one of his oldest friends in Austin, TX. While there he, of course, sampled the local cuisine. Including a BLT made with chicken fried bacon. Texan Red Peonies members, is this a common sight?

ReplyDeleteMaybe it is an Austin-based sandwich, although Molly lived there for a while so I would think she would have seen one if they were all that common. Chicken fried steak is a local cuisine so it sounds like they took that idea and ran with it.
