World Cup

I am obsessed with the World Cup. Interesting, since I know absolutely nothing about soccer.

This year's matches are during the day, at a reasonable time. 4 years ago I would get up at 3 in the morning to see the games in Korea and Japan- admittedly I often fell asleep during some exciting mid-field action.

What happened to Brazil? It's an all Europe quarter final (world cup of the imperialists)- I am disappointed. I always root for the Brazilians, I guess that's what you might expect from a Yankee fan. Now I am rooting for the Portugese- at least it's the same language, and I'm for the underdog when the front runner folds.
