I think Lost is better when Brian K. Vaughn writes it, but this wasn't too bad. Perhaps I spend too much time with Calvin, but occasionally the dialog makes me cringe, too.
I have to watch the new Big Love season, HBO is messed up on my tv so I can only see it on demand and haven't gotten around to it yet.
I liked Big Love -- lots of new intrigues. It's like suburbia squared, with every family issue magnified and caricatured. I'm curious to see how they'll handle the teen aged childrens' issues with the liflestyle -- especially Sarah. I hope she gets away.
I also have started to watch The Brotherhood which I kind of like although it paints the Irish as emotionally dead thugs. Many are, but they miss the balancing good things. (Maybe Italians say the same things about the Sopranos).
