First Stew
Neilson and I had a little dinner party, in honor of a visit of one of his best friends from college who was visiting from Chicago. I used the occasion to break in my new Le Creuset dutch oven, a very generous gift from my parents for Christmas. I made this balsamic beef stew recipe from the Williams-Sonoma cookbook Simple Suppers. It was a bit hit, if I do say so myself.
