Concord grapes have arrived at the farmers market. Even the sky-high price of $5.00 a quart could not deter me from purchasing some. That tangy yet sweet taste is impossible to pass by. (Last year I was spoiled, as one of the people who came on our Block Island trip brought a huge bowl, picked from her landlord's backyard.) I have thought about making this Concord grape ketchup, but it would end up being a pretty pricey condiment.

And they used to grow on the back of the house at 60 west Cayuga Street! Florence used to make gallons of grape jelly, until some painters cut through the vine (according to Mom).
