Howard beats Hampton!

Calvin and I went to Madison Square Garden to watch Howard play Hampton in the first annual Big Apple Classic. Calvin is a Howard graduate, and these schools are traditional rivals.

Howard won (apparently this is somewhat unusual) in a game with a lot of tough defense on both sides. Both schools had large bands, but Howard's drum corps really brought down the house. At the end of the game, they marched out of the arena, it seemed as though they were leading us into Borders, where manga was purchased.

Much snack food was consumed during the afternoon.
