Jody and Calvin Come to Denver

We had a traditional Culkin famlily party last night in honor of Jody and Calvin visiting Denver for a long weekend. The gathered clan of family and friends numbered about 26, and the night centered on the Rockies - Red Sox game. Hosmer was on the phone for some of this, as was my mother. The video where everyone is clapping is when the Rockies "almost" made a game of it in the fifth inning by scoring five runs, and the second one is of the three cousins -- Aidan, Anders and Conor -- playing with Kate's and Sarah's retro toys. The third is of Adam and Conor hanging out watching the game.

Calvin and Frank are off watching the Giants play from London today, and Sarah, Anders, Jody and I are setting up Anders' new sandbox in the back yard. Aidan and Floey will be over later.

A Day Early, A Day Late

So, I was wrong about Marc's birthday. It was actually yesterday, August 1. In celebration here is a picture of Marc with Eric, Bill and Frank c. 1996.

I think today is Marc's 21st birthday. I know we celebrated it the last day of Haborfest 2005, and that, according to the internet, was July 31.

Jane is alive and well

Greetings from Copenhagen. I got back from visiting Jane last night, and she is doing great. The camp is full of girls as nice, fun, smart and accomplished as Jane, which, as we all know, is saying something. She is writing and running a lot and suprising the Europeans by not being obese. I have some good pictures, but the power cord on my computer broke so I will have to post them when I get home.
