Calling for reports from Denver.
It's 8PM and not looking so good for the Yankees, although slightly better than it did a few minutes ago. Time for some of us to get our rally caps out. (Will Joe Torre have a job tomorrow? I hope his sister the nun (and Middlebury graduate) is praying for him and the team.) But what I would really like is some reports of what Rockies Fever is like from the citizens of Denver. Happy Rocktober.

Go Rockies! Red Sox Rockies in the World Series? I wouldn't be happy with Indians Diamnondbacks. I have never forgiven the Dbacks for winning in 2001.
The Rockies have everyone here excited. I hadn't followed them much during the season but have seen every game since I got back to Denver and I actually got to go to the play in game. That game was probably the most exciting sporting event I've ever attended. The Rockies may even be more popular than the Broncos who played in the worst sporting event I ever attended on Sunday. I may have to give up on the Broncos and focus on my other favorite football team the Dillon Panthers who seem to be having some disturbing off the field issues.
I had to turn off the first episode of Friday Night Lights, it was so disturbing. I seem to forget- its only a tv show.
