You can see the short pilot Rob Thomas made while pitching the idea for the revamped season 4 Veronica Mars on YouTube. It would have taken the series 5 years into the future, right after VM graduated from the FBI Academy. It is great, which is depressing, since, as we all know, the CW cancelled the show.
