Since neither Jody or Kate ever age it is hard to tell. The only clues are Jody's bag and Kate's puffy coat. I am consulting my crime lab experts to have those clues analyzed.
This was taken on my 36th birthday in the New York Marble Cemetery. Some of Neilson's New Amsterdam ancestors are buried there, and on the second weekend of May they have a meeting of descendants of the interred.

I don't think it is fair that Kate answered the question, clearly she knew where it was taken.
Thanks for engaging here, Molly. I'm guessing this would have remained a mystery if Kate hadn't answered it, though. Who would ever have guessed New York Marble Cemetery? I was really intrigued by this photo, though, both because it was so pretty, and yet utterly unfamiliar. I have always loved older cemeteries; I might have to get Neilson to sponsor a visit.
This is a great photo- I remember this day well, we went to brunch first. I have many pictures from a slightly different angle (and of course I am not in them).
