Xanadu

My friend Robert Boyd has a wonderful show that's up right now in New York. It's called "Xanadu", it's a video installation that's an apocalyptic take on dictators of the 20 and 21st century, suicide cults, 9/11- a party's over theme with a disco beat. Apparently, people are sometimes crying in the gallery when they see it, though noone would possibly accuse it (or Robert) of sentimentality.

Read Holland Carter's review in the Times here.
